Therapeutic Massage incorporates a variety of techniques including Swedish Massage, Connective Tissue, Foot Reflexology, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Hot Stones Therapy and Reiki tailored to the specific needs and current physical condition of the client. Therapeutic Massage promotes relaxation, decreases muscular pain and discomfort, improves flexibility, and increases circulation.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is massage done using smooth gliding strokes, gentle kneading and surface friction. Benefits include deep relaxation, stress relief, improved sleep, increased circulation, decreased muscular pain and discomfort, improved flexibility and healthy skin.

Hot Stones Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is massage using heated stones which promotes increased blood flow to the area where applied, promotes cell regeneration and healthy skin, decreases pain and muscle tension, softens muscle tissue and increases body temperature. Hot stones therapy provides deep relaxation and promotes a sense of inner peace and well-being.

Reiki

Reiki is a spiritually-directed life force energy. Ancient hands-on healing techniques are used to open blockages in the body’s energetic system promoting healing, balance and wholeness for body, mind, emotions and spirit. Reiki relieves stress and aids in relaxation. Reiki involves no massage techniques.

Reiki and Massage

Reiki and Massage is Reiki energy work and therapeutic massage combined in the same session according to the client’s needs, providing relief from muscular tension as well as total relaxation.

Paraffin Dip Treatment

Paraffin Dip Treatment is performed by dipping either hands or feet into heated paraffin wax and then covered for 10 to 15 minutes allowing the heat to penetrate the area. This treatment increases circulation, reduces pain and stiffness in the muscles, tendons and joints and moisturizes the skin.

Exfoliating Salt Glow

Exfoliating Salt Glow for the back provides an exfoliation of the skin on the back using fine-grain sea salt mixed in jojoba oil with or without aromatherapy essential oil.
